2. USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT & COPYRIGHT DECLARATION (YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY) FinishSnap provides a custom manufacturing service based entirely on the photographs and images ("Content") uploaded by our customers.

By uploading a photo to our website for customization, you are making a legal declaration that:

  • You are the original owner of the photograph, OR you have explicitly obtained the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions from the copyright holder to use and reproduce the image.

  • The photo does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, or rights of privacy/publicity.

  • Professional Event Photos: If you are using photos taken by professional event photographers (such as marathon or race officials), you must ensure you have purchased the high-resolution rights to use those images for personal reproduction. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if the submitted photo contains visible copyright watermarks or if we reasonably suspect it infringes on a third party's rights.

3. INDEMNIFICATION You understand that FinishSnap does not assume ownership of the photos you upload. You remain solely responsible and liable for the Content you submit. By placing a custom order, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FinishSnap, its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to any breach of copyright or third-party rights caused by the Content you provided.

4. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT REPORTING (DMCA NOTICE) FinishSnap respects the intellectual property of others and expects our users to do the same. We do not pre-screen every customer-uploaded image for copyright compliance, but we will respond quickly to claims of copyright infringement.

If you are a photographer, artist, or copyright owner and believe that a customer has used your copyrighted work without authorization to create a product on our site, please notify us immediately by emailing sarahchin1989@gmail.com with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.

  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (such as the customer's order detail or URL if applicable).
